BFA Students at Stonehenge

This April, 25 students from BFA embarked on an extraordinary educational journey across England and France. Our itinerary included a series of remarkable sites: Salisbury Cathedral, Stonehenge, Christchurch College, Cardiff Castle, Hampton Court Palace, Tussaud's Waxworks, the London Dungeon, Tower Bridge, the Eiffel Tower, and Paris. Each destination offered unique lessons and unforgettable experiences, making this trip an invaluable extension of our classroom learning.

Salisbury Cathedral: Gothic Splendor

Our adventure began with the awe-inspiring Salisbury Cathedral. Known for its remarkable Gothic architecture and the tallest church spire in the UK, the cathedral left a lasting impression on our students. They were particularly fascinated by the cathedral's medieval craftsmanship and its housing of one of the four surviving original copies of the Magna Carta, an essential document in the history of democracy.

At Hampton Court Palace, students stepped into the world of Tudor royalty. The palace's opulent state apartments, expansive gardens, and the famous hedge maze provided a vivid picture of royal life. The interactive exhibits and costumed guides made the history of Henry VIII and his court come alive.
